500 5-Minute Writing Exercises (ebook)

This book is full of writing exercises to stimulate your brain and work out your creative muscles. Write a flash fiction piece in five minutes or less. Work on a piece of random dialog. Be fun. Be silly. Be loose. The work you do could be the start of something great, but it's great if you took five minutes out of your day to do an exercise. That's success in itself. This book is not meant to be all-encompassing. It's not meant to be difficult. It's meant to be engaging, to get you a little more practice. Because that's really what writing as a craft is about. Practice. The more we're able to write, the more we're able to practice, the better writers we are.
So, set up a timer, set aside five minutes, and work on an exercise, any exercise without worrying about grammar, punctuation, or plot. Afterall, there are no grades here. Just practice. And with a little consistency, habit.
