Write a story using future tense.
He will wake up alone and remember he didn’t pick up his wife last night. He will call her repeatedly. She will not answer. He will call her mother to ask her where his wife is. His mother-in-law will not know and after a grueling 15-minutes of question from the in-law matriarch, he will grow wary, impatient, and hang up on her. He needs to find his wife. He can’t imagine why she wouldn’t come home. Even if he didn’t pick her up, she still should have gotten a way home.
He will call her again. Nothing. He will call the hospitals in the area. Nothing. Finally, when he’s at his wit’s end, he will receive a knock at the door. The police.
